He is a very powerful saint, patron and protector of the Catholic Church. He is also the patron saint of the Family, in addition to his patronages of the sick and of a happy death. Patron of carpenters.  

These statues were hand painted by a group of widows that have lost their husbands due to the violence occurring in Colombia. They come from the Liscano Collection.
